Cookie Policy

1. Why there is no consent banner

Consent is required only for optional cookies — advertising, marketing, or individual visitor tracking. The site has none, and strictly necessary cookies do not require consent (Lithuanian Law on Electronic Communications provisions on storing information on terminal equipment, and the GDPR).

If such cookies were ever introduced, we would ask for your consent before storing them.

2. What we actually store

• Administrator session cookies (sb-…-auth-token, Supabase Auth) — set only after signing in to the private admin area, so an ordinary visitor never receives them. Strictly necessary; valid until the session ends or you sign out.
• theme (browser local storage) — remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme. This is not a cookie: it stays in your browser and is never sent to the server. Necessary for the feature; kept until you clear it.

Nothing else is stored on your device.

3. Cookieless analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to measure traffic and performance. Neither sets cookies nor creates a persistent visitor identifier — the data is aggregated. What that data covers is described in the privacy policy.

4. Third-party content

On map pages, background tiles are loaded from CARTO's servers, which makes your IP address visible to them. Fonts and other static assets are served from our own server, so no additional third-party requests are made.

5. Managing cookies

You can review, delete or block cookies at any time in your browser settings — usually under 'Privacy and security'. The same place lets you clear local storage.

Note that clearing browser data will also reset your chosen site theme. All other features continue to work as usual.

6. Changes

This list will be updated as the site gains new features, and the date at the top will change accordingly.
