Privacy Policy
Last updated 2026-07-27
This privacy policy explains what personal data degalukainos24.lt processes, for what purpose and on what legal basis, and what rights you have under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The site requires no registration, and we do not collect data that the site does not need to work.
1. Data controller
degalukainos24.lt is operated, and personal data is controlled, by a private individual based in the Republic of Lithuania. For any question about personal data, write to info@degalukainos24.lt.
No data protection officer has been appointed — one is not required, as data is not processed on a large scale and no special categories of personal data are processed.
2. What data we process
The site is public and free: no account is needed, and the fuel price data itself contains no personal data. In practice only the following is processed:
- Technical server logs — IP address, browser type (user agent), the page requested, and the date and time of the request. These are recorded automatically by the hosting provider.
- Aggregated traffic statistics — visit counts, page paths, approximate country, device type, referrer. Collected without cookies and without any persistent visitor identifier.
- Performance measurements — page load times and similar technical metrics.
- Correspondence — if you email us, we process your email address and the contents of your message as far as needed to reply.
- Administrator login data — the private admin area holds only the site owner's account; there are no visitor accounts.
3. What we do not collect
We do not ask for or collect names, addresses, phone numbers, payment details, or special (sensitive) categories of data. The site contains no ad networks, social media tracking pixels, profiling, or retargeting tools. We do not sell personal data.
4. Purposes and legal basis
If optional cookies or consent-requiring analytics are ever introduced, we would ask for your consent separately and in advance.
- Operating the site, keeping it secure and preventing abuse — legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Aggregated traffic and performance statistics used to improve the site — legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)); collected without cookies and without individual tracking.
- Replying to your enquiries by email — legitimate interest in corresponding with the person who contacted us (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Administrator authentication — legitimate interest in protecting the site's content (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
5. Cookies
We use no advertising or tracking cookies, which is why there is no cookie consent banner. Only strictly necessary items are used. See the cookie policy for details.
6. Recipients of data
Data is technically accessible to the following service providers, acting as processors under data processing agreements:
- Vercel Inc. (USA) — hosting, server logs, traffic and performance statistics. Privacy policy.
- Supabase Inc. (USA) — the fuel price database and administrator authentication; the database itself is hosted in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany). Privacy policy.
- CARTO — map background tiles. When you open a map page, your browser requests tiles directly from CARTO's servers, which makes your IP address visible to them. Privacy policy.
We may also disclose data to competent authorities where required by the law of the Republic of Lithuania.
7. Transfers outside the EEA
Some service providers are established in the United States. Data is transferred to them on the basis of the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, as set out in those providers' own privacy documentation.
8. Retention
- Server logs — kept only briefly, for the period set by the hosting provider.
- Traffic and performance statistics — kept only in aggregated form, with no individual visitor records.
- Email correspondence — up to 1 year from the last message, unless the law requires longer retention.
- Fuel price data — kept indefinitely; it is public information not related to any identifiable person.
9. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have data erased (the 'right to be forgotten');
- restrict processing;
- object to processing based on legitimate interest;
- data portability, where technically applicable;
- lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
To exercise any of these rights, write to info@degalukainos24.lt. We will reply within 1 month of receiving your request at the latest. To act on a request we may ask you to specify which data you mean (for example, an IP address and the time of the visit).
10. Complaints
If you believe your personal data is being processed unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the State Data Protection Inspectorate of Lithuania (L. Sapiegos g. 17, 10312 Vilnius, email ada@ada.lt, vdai.lrv.lt). We would ask you to contact us first — most questions can be resolved directly.
11. Children's data
The site is intended for the general public and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect any personal data from children.
12. Automated decision-making
We make no decisions based solely on automated processing, including profiling, that would produce legal or similarly significant effects for you.
13. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as the site's features or the law change. The current version is always published on this page, with the date of the last update shown at the top.
